PDF to flashcards
Turn your PDF into flashcards
Start with the material your course actually uses. Add a PDF, generate a set of question-and-answer cards, and check the answers before your first review.
Start for free. See plans and limits.
Illustrative study example
A paragraph becomes a focused question
Source note
Opportunity cost is the value of the best alternative forgone when you make a choice.
Question
You choose an hour of study instead of a paid shift. What is the opportunity cost?
Example answer
The value of the best alternative you gave up, such as the pay from that shift.
Example prepared for this guide. Your result depends on your source material and should be checked against it.
From material to practice
1. Bring one PDF
Start with a chapter or lecture you want to review. In Ozard, open the flashcard tool and add your PDF. Choose a readable file and check that essential diagrams and equations are clear.
2. Check the generated cards
Compare definitions, notation and exceptions with the original file. AI-generated answers can be incomplete. Keep the source nearby and split questions that ask too many things at once.
3. Recall, then reveal
Answer before looking at the other side of the card. Return to the ideas you missed, and add a course problem when you need to practise applying the knowledge.
Use cards for definitions, comparisons and short explanations. Keep full derivations and detailed diagrams in your source notes; one card should not try to replace a chapter.
Before you start
- Can I use my own lecture notes?
- Yes. The PDF flashcard workflow uses the material you add. Review the generated questions against your lecture notes before relying on them.
- Will every card be correct?
- AI can misread or omit information. Check answers, units and course-specific assumptions against the original PDF. Do not treat a generated answer as a substitute for your source.
- Can I try Ozard for free?
- You can start for free. Usage limits and paid options are explained on the pricing page; this page does not promise unlimited generation.
