Answers to the most common questions about your Ozard account, subscription, and the Ozard app on iPhone, iPad, Android, and the web.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Account and sign-in

You can sign in to Ozard with Apple, Google, a phone number, or email. Your notes, solved questions, flashcards, and subscription follow your account, so use the same sign-in method on every device to see the same library on the app and on ozard.ai.

If your library looks empty after signing in, you are most likely signed in with a different method than before. Sign out from Settings and sign in again with the method you originally used.

Subscriptions

Ozard Premium renews automatically until you cancel it. You manage and cancel it where you bought it:

  • App Store (iPhone, iPad): open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ozard, or tap Manage subscription in Ozard Settings.
  • Google Play (Android): open the Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ozard.
  • Web (ozard.ai): open your account page, go to the Subscription tab, or use the link in the receipt Polar sent you.

To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. If you started a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you will not be charged. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Bought Premium but the app still shows the free plan? Make sure you are signed in to the same Ozard account, then open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. On a new phone, sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you purchased with.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store that charged you:

Camera, microphone, and notifications

Ozard asks for the camera and photo library only when you snap or pick a question, the microphone only when you speak to Ozard, and notifications for study reminders. Each one is optional; the rest of the app works without it.

If you declined a permission and want it back, enable it for Ozard in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Ozard; Android: Settings → Apps → Ozard → Permissions).

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time: in the app, open Settings → Delete account; on the web, open your account page and choose Delete account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it first as described above so you are not charged again. See our privacy policy for what we keep after deletion and why.
